...in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them...(Romans 12:4-6)
Just like our physical bodies contain many parts that perform different functions, so the church - known as the Body of Christ - also contains many people that perform different functions. At Bible Fellowship, we function highly on the ability of volunteers to give of their time and effort to make things happen. We are in the business of building God's Kingdom and transforming lives for Jesus, and everyone has a part to play.
We extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all who volunteer at our church. We could not do it without you. However, if you currently are not involved in a ministry, we would like to encourage you to pray and seek God's will for what He would have you to do. There is simply nothing greater than experiencing God's grace as you act as Christ's hands and feet here on earth.
If you would like to be involved but are unsure about where to do so, you may want to assess your giftings and talents, and seek the counsel of others. We have plenty of room for all types of people, and we are always open to the possibility of new ministries at our church. The key is to make the ministry you are involved with your ministry. Take ownership of it. It is your service to the church and work for the Lord.
